Hi, I’m Steph, a Team GB Olympic marathon runner and professional athlete for Adidas.

Growing up I was always running around in some form! Hockey and running were a big part of my school and University years. When I decided to do my first marathon, I had a good base level of fitness, but I had never been exposed to a structured training block under the guidance of a coach. In 2018, I ran my debut marathon in Berlin in a time of 2:41. Just over a year later, I ran 2:27 at Valencia Marathon, which was an Olympic qualifying time. An ambitious goal had become reality!

In 2021, I won the UK Olympic Marathon trials and went on to finish as the highest placed GB athlete in the Tokyo Olympic Marathon. As an elite runner, I work with sport psychologists, physios, nutritionists, and strength and conditioning coaches, who have taught me things that I implement in my own coaching today. Using my experience and degree in Sport Science, I create bespoke training plans to help runners of all abilities reach their goals!
